The Pantry distributes bags of groceries on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am - 12 pm from Nap's Office located at 3100 Ritchie Rd, Unit C District Heights, MD. And every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month, from 9 am-11 am at Oxon Hill United Methodist Church. The church is located at 6400 Livingston Rd, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. The food distribution will be held in the rear parking lot. During inclement weather, distribution will be held inside the church. Clients receive groceries containing a nutritious mix of perishable and nonperishable foods to feed their families for four to five days. Clients may come as often as needed. Much of our food is donated. To supplement donations, we purchase food from the Food Bank.
NAP also provides food to several low-income senior citizens and people with disabilities at several low-income apartment complexes across the county each month. These clients are unable to get out or unable to physically carry the 70 pounds of food we provides. NAP apartment program ensures that neither a lack of transportation nor physical strength will prevent people from obtaining the food they so urgently need.
